Most shows at the amphitheatre take place in July and August when temperatures frequently soar above 90 degrees and when a summer rain shower can appear in an instant.
The venue features two areas of Pavilion seating plus a general admission lawn area. With a capacity of nearly 30,000 guests, the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in south-suburban Chicago is one of the largest outdoor music venues in the country.
